The Industrial and Services Co-operative Society Limited (ISCOS) formed in 1989, is a social enterprise with the primary aim of helping ex-offenders re-integrate gainfully into society.

We recognize that the challenges an ex-offender faces are multi-fold, from within and without. In recent years, we have widened our programmes to range from assistance in employment to honing life skills and positive life habits to helping their immediate family too, particularly where young children are involved. Our members’ services include Back-to-school, Back-to-Work and Fairy Godparent Programmes This holistic approach is already starting to see promising results.

We also have a business arm in RE Holdings where we set up businesses to help fund our social mission. These businesses also cater to the employment of ex-offenders.

As much as we can, we build mirrored industries from within prison to outside so that ex-offenders can continue with the work they have done in prison and ease their transition period upon release. One such example is Call Centre 1, our main stream call centre buisness via Connect Centre our prison based call centre.

RE Holdings also creates food and beverage business models for those who may want to indulge in business start-ups.

As ISCOS is a self-funding co-operative we still rely on continuing donor funding and volunteers to see our programmes through. We currently have about 8,500 members who have benefitted through our extensive reintegration programmes and services.

ISCOS is an active member of the Community Action for the Rehabilitation of Ex-offenders (CARE) Network, working towards the yearly objectives of the Yellow Ribbon Project.
