A total of 50 beneficiaries from the YRF-ISCOS Fairy Godparent Programme (FGP) were inspired through the ‘Kindness Project’, a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative by New York-based fashion brand, alice + olivia by Stacey Bendet. More than 170 guests attended the launch event of the brand’s first standing store at ION Orchard on 13 June 2014.

Some familiar faces that graced the event to show their support to this philanthropic movement included local actress Patricia Mok, Tracy Phillips, local presenter on Lush 99.5fm and darling of Singapore’s club scene, Hanli Hoefer, outgoing model and MTV Asia VJ, as well as Sheila Sim, Singapore’s top model, amongst many others.

Messages of love and optimism filled up a decorative tree to showcase the kindness of people from different walks of life to the children. The messages were part of a ‘kindness package’ which include school items for the FGP beneficiaries.
